Operational Readiness

I spent 5 years building the Elevance Health Inc. Operational Readiness Program for incoming subsidiaries from scratch.  
In that time I managed all incoming subsidiary IT Infrastructure and support teams through integration until hand-off to “lights on” support. 

The Operational Readiness goal is to ensure that the IT footprint of an enterprise is functional, stable, resilient, and prepared for the future.

Client Partner

Resolving integration challenges between two mature and complex Information Ecosystems

In 2016, I was selected to act as the Infrastructure Operations Director over Anthem's newly formed "Government Business Group" which included large and established Enterprise IT organizations.  Due to my success in this effort, the role was rebranded to "Client Partner" and a Client Partner now oversees IT Operation at each Elevance Health Inc. line of business.
In this role I owned the delivery of Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO) to the Government Business Division (GBD). I represented GBD interest at executive leadership planning sessions and ensured GBD IT efforts and procedures were in sync with enterprise. 


Special Assignment

2017

Provided consultation to a full redesign of Elevance Health’s major incident response and problem management process. Work included process design with senior leadership and an external consultant as well as a pilot program to test and refine the new procedure. This work led to a significant decrease in MTTR (Mean time to recovery) for Major incidents as well as faster post-incident problem investigations with more complete results and fewer repeated incidents.

Incident Coordinator

2011 - 2016

Responsible for Major and Critical IT Incident Recovery and problem management efforts. Acting as an escalation resource and the voice of executive leadership while leading a team of Technology Operations incident facilitators.

Responsible for diagnosis and resolution of enterprise-wide system outages and acting as the recovery manager across multi-discipline teams.
